Meet The Team

Lezan Amadi

Lezan Amadi

BEng, FBDO CL

Lezan acquired the practice in 2015 and is passionate about care and service you receive here.

Lezan is a qualified Dispensing Optician and a Contact Lens Optician and still loves the challenge of helping clients with challenging prescriptions to wear contact lenses.

Outside the practice, Lezan is a novice gardener and loves spending time with her family.

Zoe Tilling-Alves

BSc (Hons) C. Chem, FBDO

Zoe is a qualified Dispensing Optician and has known Lezan for some 15 years.

Zoe is passionate about helping everyone love their glasses and will help you find the right frame and lenses for your needs.

When not at work, Zoe will often be out walking her dog in London’s parks. She enjoys cooking…and adding to her ever-growing glasses collection!

Kalpana is a highly qualified optometrist who has been involved in clinical practice for over 30 years.

In addition to her work as a clinician, she is also an OSCE Examiner for the College of Optometrists, London.

When not at work, Kalpana enjoys Spanish culture, sewing, crafts and walking her dog.

Tess Agnew, DOptom

Tess Agnew

DOptom, McOptom, BSc

Tess qualified with a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and has been working in Australia and London since then.

As well as working at Unger & Fagan, Tess works at Moorfields Eye Hospital and enjoys splitting her time between the two.

Being a born and bred New Zealander, Tess enjoys all the things London has to offer and having Europe at her fingertips.

Deep is currently on maternity leave!

Deep achieved her First Class Optometry degree from City University in London and was awarded for her high achievement.

Deep’s philosophy is to help clients to see better through care and compassion.

When not at work, Deep loves to cook, bake, keep fit and travel whenever she can.

Friendly, attentive, unhurried service. The different options regarding glasses and lenses are carefully explained and you don't feel pressured to choose the more expensive option. The glasses seem good and they say you can come back any time if something doesn't seem right with them - and it sounds like a genuine offer. Highly recommended.

This is the by far the best opticians I've ever been to! Prior to visiting Unger and Fagan, I'd visited a bunch of opticians, all of whom were generally unhelpful or in one case completely ignored me! Lezan basically took charge and smashed out a good 5 or 6 frames within 5 minutes that she thought would suit me. Honestly, it was so nice to have someone be totally honest and know pretty much straight away what would suit my face. Was really glad I found this place - and people really love the glasses! Definitely recommend!

Excellent service. Lezan and Zoe were extremely helpful and really took their time with me whilst I chose my glasses and had them fitted. Their customer service was really beyond any other optician I had ever visited. I am so pleased with my customized frames! From now on, I won't be going anywhere else and recommend that you only visit this optician, they are the best!
